This quiet, dependable vacuum pump will produce a high-quality vacuum when performing experiments in which a very low pressure is needed, like boiling water at room temperature. The rotary sliding vane produces a free air capacity of 85 liters per minute. Other features/specifications include: direct drive; oil trap; pump speed of 3,360 rpm; a ½-hp, 110-V, 60-Hz motor; oil capacity of 300 mL; and two intake ports for ¼” or ½” i.d. tubing.
